Red Rover- Mobile App for Employees (Android)
As an employee, you can view, create, and manage your absences in the Red Rover Mobile App for Android.

Downloading the Red Rover Mobile App and Signing In
To download the Red Rover Mobile App:
- Go to the Play Store on your Android device and search for "Red Rover K12" on your mobile device and tap the Install button.

- Once downloaded, find Red Rover in your list of apps and tap the Red Rover icon to open.

- Sign in using your district SSO (single sign-on) email address and password.

Note!
If your district uses and has enabled SSO (Single Sign On), after entering your district email, you will be redirected to a SSO page to complete the login process.
My Schedule and Editing/Deleting Absences:
After logging in, you'll see the My Schedule page. Here, you can see and edit your upcoming and past absences.
- To get to My Schedule from another screen, tap the Menu Icon
and choose My Schedule.

Navigate between months by tapping the left (<) and right (>) arrows in the calendar.

Scroll through your absences by swiping up or down in the "Absences" list.
- To Edit or Delete an absence, tap the absence from the list, change the details, then tap Save.

To delete the absence, tap the red Delete button and confirm you wish to Delete the absence.
Creating an Absence
To create an absence:
- Tap the menu button in the upper left corner
and choose Create Absence.
- Select your date(s), time, reason, if you require a sub (if applicable), and any notes you need to share with your administrator or sub.

- You can then prearrange a sub of your choice if permitted by your district. To do so, tap the date underneath of the Substitute Details heading

- From here, you can tap the arrow by No Substitute Selected to bring up a list of substitutes that can cover the absence.

- To adjust the sub times, (if they differ from your absence times), tap on the times listed under the date of the absence.

- From here, you can adjust times for the absence as by indicating whether the entire absence needs coverage, or only certain periods.

- Finally, tap the Create Absence button to submit the request. The absence is officially created once you see a confirmation number on the screen.
Notifications
To see your notifications:
- Tap the bell icon in the upper right
or tap the menu button in the upper left corner
and choose Notifications.

Acknowledge a notification by tapping on a notification or by tapping the vertical ellipsis in the upper right corner
and choose Mark all as read.
To Set Your Notification Preferences:
- Tap the menu button in the upper left
and choose "My Profile"
- Select "Notification Preferences." Then, select which notifications you'd like to receive.
Bulletin Board
School districts can communicate to employees using the "bulletin board" feature.
- The most urgent messages appear as banners at the top of the app. Just tap the banner to see the entire message.

- To see less urgent district posts, tap the menu button in the upper left
and choose Bulletin Board. You can see and acknowledge any message you've been sent. Acknowledging a message will remove the banner message from the top of your screen.

My Profile
To view and edit your personal information:
- Tap the menu button in the upper left
- Choose My Profile, then choose Edit Profile.
